Pretty hilarious that they've called it "Specter General", because that was the pseudonym used by the band KickAxe on the Transformers The Movie soundtrack. The band had to use a pseudonym because "KickAxe" sounded to suggestive.

That xtrans looks like sg magnus from shattered glass more than delta magnus.

I'm always surprised that MMC never made an IDW Ultra/Delta magnus figure.

Excited to see some movement on the Ocular Max Defensor front. Hopefully the wait for Groove (since by all appearances that will be the next one coming) will be less than the wait for Hotspot.

Spector General, aka Kick Axe, was the name of the artist/band that sang Nothing's Gonna Stand In Our Way on the Transformers The Movie OST. What a great reference. Shows some naming ingenuity from XTB. NOTE: They changed the Kick Axe name to Spector General because Hasbro thought the name was inappropriate for a kids movie. Of course brutally killing off fan favorite characters and most 80's kids surrogate father figure was apparently okay though.

Nice to see Ocular Max squeezing as much as they can out of that Eris mold. It holds up pretty well but I was hoping their Infinite Finity line would expand into new figures eventually.

I really like these figures, couldn't bring myself to pay what they are charging for either of these figures. Saying that, I do prefer the N A.

Not a fan of the overall design decisions made here ("the G1 toy with extra steps" doesn't work for everyone, ESPECIALLY when folks are expecting a show accurate robot mode, which this is ain't, as it goes All G1 Toy All The Time...). And that thing about the chest seems like it's either standard Hasbruh QC failure...or a really dumb design decision. All in all, it's still a cool figure, though. But it does make me wonder if the teeny tiny G1 toy or one of them 3P Legends are just cheaper to get instead...the only downside being that the robot mode ain't mainline compatible. 😑😑😑

Looks like they shafted us with the new batch. No 2nd head, no jetpack.

Believe it or not, I bought two of these. Because the UT version's car mode doesn't come close to how it's supposed to look! And when it's time to display them, this guy will be displayed in both alt modes. And that is why I bought 2 of them!

I really hate the toon deco for dinobots. It just looks silly and cheap.

I'll buy these IF they were a two pack for $120 or separate $60 each. They're decent i just can't see $200 for the pair. And they need to be fixed for higher quality. Xtb doesn't seem to care about quality i guess because people keep buying them.

Interesting that you gave the point to Magic Square for engineering and then immediately complain about the poor engineering meaning the legs splay out in Dino mode.
